Our Environment

Every week Genesis Church gathers at Willagillespie Elementary School for Sunday morning service at 11:00am. The atmosphere is relaxed so you are encouraged to come as you are. When you walk through the doors on campus, you can expect to see children settling into their classes in the library, our worship team preparing themselves and people mingling for coffee and conversation. Someone will likely welcome you when you walk in the door and hand you a bulletin. Come in and grab a seat!

A typical service begins with a selection of songs lead by our dynamic worship team, followed by an engaging Bible-based message from the pastor, and concluding with an opportunity to respond to the message through worship and prayer. Because relationships are so important at Genesis, we take time for a "Cookie Break" during the service where there is always plenty of socializing and light refreshments. Communion and prayer stations, accessible anytime during the service, are set up at both the front and back of the room. We do not pass an offering plate, but rather incorporate giving into worship by providing drop boxes near the communion stations. Prayer and worship can be expressed from your seat, by standing or kneeling at a prayer station, or through taking communion.
